Efficiency comparative estimate of spectrum-continuous barrage jamming, continuous barrage and repeater noise jamming over the Frequency Hopping radio lines is carried out. Jamming power is chosen to be the efficiency index which provides the same error probability per transmitted data bit over the radio line.

METHOD FOR DECISION-MAKING TREE INDICES RANKING IN EVALUATING THE DATA QUALITY OF AUTOMATED TELECOMMUNICATION SYSTEMS

ANALYSIS OF EFFICIENCY ENHANCEMENT POSSIBILITIES IN OPERATING THE AUTONOMOUS NAVIGATION SYSTEM FOR LAND MOBILE OBJECTS

Geomagnetic system errors in determining the magnetic course are analyzed. The necessity of its complexation with gyroscopic semicompass in order to improve measurement precision of the true course and communication and control system mobile object fixup value in a whole is shown. An autonomous navigation system correction method by terrain key-point coordinates determined by electronic map of the field is offered.

WAYS TO REPRESENT SIGNAL FREQUENCIES IN DIGITAL RADIO RECEIVER DEVICE TRANSITIONS BETWEEN THEM

The process of various frequency types that are mentioned in the description of the received analog signal propagation over the digital radio receiver device path using the flow and block processing algorithms is discussed in detail. Direct and reverse transitions between various frequency representations of the analog and digital signal formulae are given. Methods for determining the input signal unknown frequencies are offered.

NEW METHOD OF DATA PRESENTION IN MODULAR CODES FOR DIGITAL SIGNAL PROCESSING

Advantages of applying non-positional arithmetic for digital signal processing and digital filters are shown. A new method to present data in modular codes that allows using one base is offered. The method makes it possible to simplify considerably the digital filter calculating device structure and provide the output count value calculation during a single operating step. Besides, such digital filter functioning quality indices are shown as computing precision, high – rate operation and its frequency performances could be provided in accordance with requirements stated.

EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATIONS ON SEISMIC SIGNAL CHARACTERISTICS IN THE NEAR-SURFACE SOIL LAYER UNDER APPLIED SHOCK CONDITIONS

Methodology and experimental investigation results on determining the properties of bulk processes that occur at the near-surface soil layer due to applied shock are discussed. The results that characterize the propagation rate of volume seismic transient vertical and horizontal components, «energy» distribution among components and «energy» in function of distance are given. It has been shown, that basing on seismic transients horizontal component analysis, it is possible to determine the angular position of the impact source in the coordinate system associated with the sensor. The results acquired are appropriate to be used in substantiating the requirements for sensor structure and parameters and in developing seismic signal processing algorithms in prospect-signaling and safeguard systems.

PROVIDING THE DATA INTEGRITY BY HF TRANSMISSION CHANNEL

The ways to transmit data over HF channel with a preset confidence level based on the shortened Reed–Solomon codes are discussed. An approach to determining the undetected error tolerance probability during the message transmission over the data feedback channel is offered.

On the base of applying the molecular alignment theory methods in the laser field and taking into consideration the constant molecule dipole moment contribution to its alignment process, the laser communication line model is specified. The possibility to increase the laser communication line efficiency by decreasing the extinction is estimated.

TWELVE-SECTOR SWITCHABLE MICROSTRIP ANTENNA ARRAY BASED ON WIDEBAND MICROSTRIP PATCHES FOR 1,5–1,9 GHz FREQUENCY BAND

A twelve-sector switchable antenna array for 1,5–1,9 GHz mobile wireless communication system is presented. The array is developed basing on the criterion of the highest gain factor. The discrete beam steering of the proposed antenna array is realized by means of switches and controllable 1-bit phase shifters. Each antenna array sector includes four linear polarity microstrip patches stacked vertically; signals from patches are combined by means of T-junctions. Antenna gain up to 15 dBi is achieved.

CONCENTRATED PARAMETER LOW-PASS FILTER OPTIMIZATION BY MEANS OF CAD

The problem of optimizing the low-pass filter designed to operate in frequency band FĎĎ = 1500 – 1950 MHz, at the design power 1500 W, that provides passband losses 0,5 dB maximum where the standing wave ratio is 1,4 max., and signal suppression in non-passband FĎÍ = 3000 – 5850 MHz is 60 dB minimum, in order to reduce the weight and dimension parameters and to simplify the filter structure is stated.

OBOUT INTEGRAL EQUATIONS FOR CURVILINEAR SLOT ANTENNAE INSTALLED ON CURVILINEAR AIRCRAFTS SUPERFICIES

Solution for the slot antennae synthesis problems is made taking into account the curvature of the surface in which the slot has been made. The problem of electromagnetic field radiation through the thin slot in the curvilinear surface is investigated. The integral equation used for this problem solution has a singular kernel with logarithmic type peculiarity. Integral relations for cylindrical and spherical surfaces are acquired.

State spaces for various versions of phase lock loop (PLL) system designing, used in the frequency synthesizers (FSPLL) that also allow investigating some non-linear PLL properties in the piecewise linear mode are found. A methodology for high-order PLL system parametric synthesis in the frequency domain is given. A number of FSPLL flow-charts are shown for their analysis using Simulink subsystem of MATLAB-system.
