By means of simulation modeling, the characteristics of TDMA communication network built up on the base of “Voskhod” unified radios developed by JSC «Concern Sozvezdie» are investigated. The results of simulating the communication channel access control procedure and packet delivery from several segments over the network are given.

Mathematical description for non-linear signal transformation in devices with negative parallel feedback is given, taking into consideration the effect of the load resistance, signal source and feedback. Analytical description for intermodulation distortions in FET- amplifiers is offered. An experimental verification for theoretical calculation results is carried out.

Some modern frequency-efficient methods for coded modulation with iterative signal processing at the input, derivatives from three main groups of coded modulation: TCV, MLC and BICM are discussed from the viewpoint of the possibility for their application in HF data transmission modems. The interconnection between the indicated methods is analyzed. Practical recommendations of ist their parameters optimization basing of the known theoretical approaches are given.

EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATIONS OF QUADRATURE PHASE MODULATOR BASED ON RF VECTOR MODULATOR INTEGRATED CIRCUIT

Evaluation of vector modulator integrated circuits using possibility (IC) in quadrature phase modulators (QPM) to form PM radio signals with prescribed accuracy is carried out. The results of HPMX2005 IC experimental investigation in the modes of radio waveform shaping with the single-band modulation (SBM), balanced modulation (BM) and wide-band phase modulation (PM) with harmonic modulating effect at carrier oscillation fixed frequency are given. QPM operation algorithm is described.

MODULATING SIGNAL FUNCTIONAL CONVERTERS USING EPLD FOR QUADRATURE PHASE MODULATOR

It is offered to use in QPM a table technique with preliminary input signal filtration for hardware implementation of EPLD-based modulating signal functional converters. Sine-cosine encoder experimental investigation on the base of XDSP-680 experimental modulus at modulation index m? = 10?, is carried out. It resulted in obtaining some input time forms and spectrograms. The possibility and prospects for using Xilinx XC4000 ELPD-based functional converters in quadrature phase modulators in order to form non-distorted broad-band PM- and FM-signals are shown.

Basing on the long line theory and electrodynamics simulation possibilities, several ways to increase the microstrip radiating element broadband response that are based on compensating the coaxial probe inductive component have been analyzed. The compensation is based on serial and parallel capacitor connection realized, by the complicate-shape slot and spatial transition. Also the method of partial truncation for a microstrip radiating element combined with compensation methods has been analyzed. The offered methods allowed to obtain structures with the relative operating frequency band of ?rel = 46?99 %.
