Main principles and characteristics of signals spread spectrum by means of modulation of carrier pseudorandom sequence (frequency hopping- FH) are stated. Possible methods of typical radio communication systems (RCS) noise-immunity increase with FH and frequency manipulation in conditions of organized interferences and RCS self-noises are given. Noise-immunity synthesis and analysis tasks are solved of signals adaptive demodulation algorithms with FH and information symbols frequency spacing in conditions of prior uncertainty in respect of spectrum-concerned interference. Typical structural schemes and base synchronization subsystem devices algorithms in RCS with FH are given. Indexes and methods of efficiency cyclic search procedures estimation are described. Mutual use of FH signals with RCS and adaptive antenna arrays (AAA) is examined. Adaptation algorithm is analyzed which provides maximum ratio signal-noise. Energy detectors algorithms and operating characteristics which provide FH signals detection for its jamming are described.

The book is intended for scientists, engineers, postgraduates and students of upper courses specialized in radio communication systems research and development.
