JSC Concern Sozvezdie Starts to Deliver Inhalers to Russian Market

In the near future JSC Concern Sozvezdie (member of holding Ruselectronics by state corporation Rostec) will start to execute its first commercial deliveries of compressor inhalers to Russian medical institutions and pharmacies.

Today the main manufacturer of such devices in the holding structure, i.e. JSC Almaz (Rostov-on-Don, a member of Concern Sozvezdie in the holding structure), developed five modifications of K-21 series inhalers, including the childrens ones, which do not yield to import analogues in technical parameters but cost less.

Certification tests that took place in 2016 demonstrated high reliability, ergonomics and serviceability of the devices. The articles do not have any contra-indications from drug manufacturers and were allowed to be used in Russia by order from Federal Service for Surveillance in Healthcare.

To stimulate the sale JSC Almaz provides continuous availability of inhaler components that are prone to intensive tear and wear such as mouthpieces, aerosol masks, spray chambers and air tubes.

As it was reported previously, K 21 inhalers are designed for cure and prevention of respiratory diseases such as asthma, bronchitis, influenza, pharyngomycosis, ARD, ARVI, pharyngitis, age-related changes in respiratory tract mucous coat, work-related diseases of respiratory tracts and lungs. The device capacity is 2.5-3 ml/min while the size of the particles sprayed does not exceed 9 μm providing effective penetration of the medicine into the organism. Continuous operation mode is up to 6 hours.
