Concern’s Employee Participates in WorldSkills Corporate Championship

Maxim Vyrypaev, senior designer of JSC Concern Sozvezdie (member of Ruselectronics United Holding), has participated in WorldSkills professional skills corporate championship. The competitor took part in CAD Engineering Drawing category and hit the top 5.

“The competitive part of the championship took three days; each day the participants were given a new task,” - said Maxim Vyrypaev. “At first I was asked to model spare parts by drafts given, then I used them to assemble a construction, after that I developed a final assembly drawing, final assembly animation and its photorealistic image. The next task was to design frame and bearing steel constructions for a transport line based on sketch drawings. Finally, I was to modernize the proposed construction and create a 3D-model using a sample of a completed part”.

The representatives of the holding’s eight big enterprises took part in the championship. Under the authority of Russian Engineering Union within the business program of the championship there was held a meeting of an extended coordination board of “Work in Russia!” federal program.
