Concern “Sozvezdie” Has Developed a Hardware-Software Complex for Checking Radio Stations

JSC “Concern ”Sozvezdie“ has developed a hardware-software complex (PAK) to test the performance of a large range of radio stations developed and manufactured by Concern ”Sozvezdie“ for acquisition of command-staff machines (R-168-25U-2, R-168-100U-2, R-168-5KV, R-168-100KB, R-168 MPA, R-612-18).

“Ryazan Radiozacod” (part of JSC “Concern ”Sozvezdie“) received a patent for the invention and began developing the complex in June 2016. This year, ”Ryazan Radiozavod“ intensively produces software-hardware complexes and general kit of technological equipment. Test prototypes have already been put into operation.

The complex is a component of the technological equipment set (KTO) intended for testing radio stations that are installed on the command-staff vehicles. The evaluation of their performance is carried out on two main parameters – sensitivity and output power (at different operation modes of radio stations). Due to the presence of PAK in the vehicles, fault analysis can be carried out even in field conditions.

Since the hardware-software complex is a multi-channel system, up to eight transceivers of various types can be checked at the same time. Thus, in a short period of time (1-2 receptions) it is possible to check all communication equipment installed in the vehicle. The complex is able to check radio stations in the frequency range from 1 MHz to 2 GHz, with different types of modulation and control systems (each type of radio stations has its own control commands system, the transmission of commands is also carried out via different interfaces).

It should be noted that the software is developed by specialists of radio factory for Astra Linux operating system permitted for use in special-purpose equipment. The software of the complex has a modular structure that allows you to quickly enter new products into the inspection cycle.
