Prime minister Putin visited Concern “Sozvezdie” stand at Russian expo arms 2011 exhibition in Nizhniy Tagil During his visit to Russian expo arms 2011 exhibition in Nizhniy Tagil Prime minister V.V. Putin stopped at Concern “Sozvezdie” stand with hardware and software complexes for automated military units control of tactical level. He was especially interested in digital communication systems of the fifth generation upgraded taking into account modern requirements of the Ministry of Defense. These are stations of different frequency ranges which provide organization of the single information space of military tactical units. They provide commanders and troops’ chiefs’ interoperability, intellectualization of control tasks solution in real time mode in accordance with combat actions conditions. The Prime minister was shown the universal soldier set which provides communication between subdivisions in automated and non-automated modes. Putin examined the radio set and asked about its weight; he recommended the designers to use light materials for production, for example, polymeric materials. At the exhibition in Nizhniy Tagil the concern presented its newest integration solutions for stable subunits’, units’ and formations’ control in the RF armed forces. Such samples of modern military equipment “Sozvezdie” offers not only for home market but also for foreign one. The concern’s exposition was shown to the Vice-premier S.B. Ivanov, the Minister of Defense A.E. Serdukov, the representatives of different ministries, Military - industrial committee, defense agencies and also to foreign delegations.
