Research brigade training was held in October in Moscow region at Alabino training ground. At the training Single tactical control system means were used. STCS complex designed in Concern “Sozvezdie” was tested in conditions close to combat. At the training there were 140 representatives of the Ministry of Defense, military control bodies, representatives of the Federation Council and the Headquarters of Russian military forces. More than one thousand and five hundred units of military equipment were applied and more than 1200 military personnel of 5-th separate motorized infantry brigade were present at the training. Modern samples of automated control and communication means designed by a wide range of industrial enterprises under the direction of Concern “Sozvezdie” were applied.

At the testing the concern’s specialists assisted. During six months they were preparing the brigade and teaching the soldiers how to operate the equipment. The research group of the Ministry of Defense is still summarizing the results. «However it’ s already clear that there is no alternative way of developing control and communication means besides automated forces control systems, - says the first Deputy General director of science work, director of NIITS ACCS of the concern N.M. Radko. – The next task of our work will be the development of the reached result. It is important for us to implement the leading innovative solutions into the system and considerable exceed foreign analogs by qualitative and quantitative features».
